Workplace Etiquette

November 15 | Burnett Plaza | 11a.m.

We often spend more time at the workplace than we do at home, but that does not mean we should communicate the same way we do with our friends. There is a standard of workplace etiquette and communication that must be adhered to in order to portray a professional image. In this workshop, participants will learn how to:

  • Communicate professionally both in-writing and in-person
  • Understand appropriate e-mail usage and language
  • Develop a personal and professional brand through communication
  • Navigate the obstacles of a conference call
  • Engage in professional communication with diverse stakeholders

This 90-minute session will incorporate discussion, group activities, and team-building to develop the communication skills of all participants. We will explore real-life examples of etiquette struggles and discuss best practices for handling tricky situations. Better Communication. Better Results.
